In the last seven weeks I have had 9 conversations and attended 4 in person events. Here’s what I learned:
1) It’s only “scary” to reach out in our minds! Remember that people are warm and friendly; and willing to share their knowledge.
2) The world is fascinating! There are so many interesting people doing interesting things. Even if it’s not in your area of specialty, be curious! You never know what you will learn.
3) HOPE! Hope is one words in the acronyms HERO which is our response to a VUCA volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous world. HERO is hope, efficacy, resilience and optimism. Personally, I have found a lot of hope for the future through these conversations.
